Therapy for Women in New Braunfels, TX
You don’t have to keep carrying everything on your own.
Maybe you’re the person everyone turns to, but lately you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply unlike yourself. You may be navigating a breakup, relationship stress, family conflict, a career change, motherhood, grief, or a season of life that feels harder than you expected. Maybe you’ve spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you’ve lost touch with what you need.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, take a breath, and finally have space for yourself.
I provide in-person therapy for women in New Braunfels, Texas, with a warm, down-to-earth approach that focuses on helping you feel more confident, connected, and grounded in your life.
My goal is not to tell you who you should be or what decisions you should make. It is to help you better understand yourself, recognize what you need, and feel more confident moving forward.
A Look Inside My New Braunfels Office
I want my office to feel warm, comfortable, and inviting from the moment you walk in. Therapy is personal, and I believe your environment can make a difference in how comfortable you feel opening up.
A Space Where you Can be Yourself
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable. You may be wondering what you’re supposed to say, whether your problems are “serious enough,” or whether you’ll actually feel comfortable opening up to someone.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
My hope is that therapy feels like a space where you can show up as you are. You can talk about the things that feel messy, confusing, frustrating, or difficult to put into words without worrying about being judged.
Together, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what you’re experiencing. We’ll look at the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, explore what matters most to you, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach is warm, collaborative, flexible, and person-centered.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to sit across from you and tell you what you should do. Instead, I’m here to listen, ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns, and offer practical tools that can support you outside of our sessions.
We may explore questions like:
What matters most to you?
What kind of person do you want to be?
What are you willing to make room for in order to live a life that feels meaningful?
What would it look like to trust yourself a little more?
Therapy should not feel like a one-size-fits-all experience. Your goals, experiences, relationships, and needs are unique, so our work together will be tailored to you.
What Brings You to Therapy?
You may not have one specific reason for reaching out. Sometimes it’s a combination of things that have slowly started to feel like too much.
You may be:
Constantly overthinking or struggling to quiet your mind
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained
Putting everyone else’s needs before your own
Struggling with self-doubt or low confidence
Having difficulty setting boundaries or saying no
Navigating a breakup, divorce, or friendship loss
Experiencing family conflict or difficult relationship dynamics
Adjusting to motherhood or another major life transition
Processing grief or a significant loss
Feeling disconnected from yourself
Struggling with motivation, sadness, or depression
Unsure of what you want your next chapter to look like
Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve a space where you can talk about it openly and begin figuring out what comes next.

Areas I Can Help With
Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety can leave you feeling like your mind never gets a break. Maybe you’re constantly thinking through every possible outcome, replaying conversations, worrying about the future, or struggling to relax even when everything seems okay.
In anxiety therapy, we work on understanding your anxiety, recognizing the patterns that keep it going, and learning practical ways to respond to difficult thoughts and emotions. We may incorporate mindfulness, grounding, and ACT strategies to help you feel more present and less controlled by anxiety.
Relationship Therapy
Relationships can bring some of the biggest challenges we face. You may struggle to communicate your needs, avoid conflict, feel responsible for other people’s emotions, or find yourself repeating patterns you don’t understand.
In relationship-focused therapy, we can explore your relationship patterns, practice healthy communication, work on boundaries, and build your confidence in advocating for yourself. We can also explore how your past experiences may influence the way you connect with others.
Depression Therapy
Depression can make you feel disconnected from yourself and the life you once enjoyed. You may feel exhausted, unmotivated, numb, or like you’re simply going through the motions.
Therapy can help you understand what you’re experiencing, reconnect with what matters to you, and take small, meaningful steps toward feeling more engaged in your life again. We can work on self-compassion, motivation, difficult thoughts, and reconnecting with your values.
Life Transitions Therapy
Even positive changes can be difficult. A new job, breakup, divorce, move, motherhood, or shift in identity can leave you wondering, “Who am I now?” and “What do I actually want?”
Therapy can help you process the emotions that come with change while finding your footing in a new chapter. Using ACT, we can explore your values and identify what matters most so you can make choices that feel authentic to you rather than simply reacting to uncertainty.
Grief Therapy
Grief can change everything. Whether you’re grieving the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, a change in your family, or another meaningful loss, you may feel like you’re trying to figure out how to live in a world that feels different.
Grief therapy provides space to process your emotions without rushing you through them. We can use ACT to learn how to make room for painful emotions and Narrative Therapy to explore your story, your relationship with the person or thing you lost, and meaningful ways to honor that loss while continuing forward.
Self-Esteem & Confidence Therapy
Maybe you’re constantly second-guessing yourself, comparing yourself to others, or feeling like you’re never quite enough. Low self-esteem can affect the way you communicate, make decisions, set boundaries, and show up in relationships.
Therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths, recognize your worth, build self-trust, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself. We can use ACT and thought defusion to help you notice your inner critic without allowing it to define who you are.
What I Hope You Find in Therapy
My goal is not simply for you to feel better for an hour each week.
I want therapy to help you build skills and insight that you can carry into your everyday life.
Over time, that may look like:
Trusting yourself more
Feeling more comfortable saying no
Setting boundaries without as much guilt
Communicating your needs more clearly
Understanding your emotions instead of feeling controlled by them
Feeling more confident in your decisions
Recognizing unhealthy patterns in relationships
Reconnecting with the things that matter to you
Feeling more comfortable in your own skin
Creating a life that feels more authentic to who you are
You may not leave every session feeling like everything is fixed. But my hope is that you leave feeling a little more understood, a little more grounded, and a little more equipped to handle what comes next.
You don't have to wait until things feel unbearable to reach out.
Maybe you’re simply tired of overthinking everything. Maybe you’re ready to stop putting yourself last. Maybe you’re navigating a major transition and need someone to help you make sense of it. Or maybe you’re ready to understand yourself and your relationships on a deeper level.
Whatever brings you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.
